Members of the Lab and Production group are experts in using the tools for alignment, testing, and precision assembly – including opto-alignment machines, interferometers, wavefront sensors, and the custom tools designed by our Optomechanical Engineering group.

We are involved in determining feasibility during the design phase from the beginning. We provide our specific expertise to ensure manufacturability and document a repeatable assembly plan that is ready for implementation during the assembly phase. Since we predominantly manufacture custom and first-in-kind systems, our production team is well-versed in creative problem-solving and in developing unprecedented methods of assembly to meet strict specifications.

This agile strategy allows us to efficiently move from one phase of our process to the next while reducing delays in delivery to the customer. The Lab and Production group and Quality Management team work hand-in-hand to improve processes and create efficiencies that lower costs for customers and reduce errors.
