The Laser Alignment and Assembly Station
Now offering Diagnostics and Conformance Analysis
Services for optics/lenses

Increases the precision and productivity of our optical assembly and inspection. Non-contact measurement and alignment bench-top instrument improves the quality of assembly and inspection of precision and ultra-precision multi-element lens assemblies. Software calibrates the instrument, finds focal and confocal distances of up to 99 elements and stores the data in a spreadsheet.

High performance features
The visible diode laser beam measures tilts as small as 2 arc seconds by reflection from small radii of curvature of ±2 mm to infinity, and provides centration accuracy (linear) of less than 0.5 microns. The compact optical sensing head handles virtually any size lens assembly up to 600 mm vertex-vertex. Ideal for cementing spherical and cylindrical doublets and triplets with precision mounting of glass and crystal optical components or for potting subassemblies and assembling entire lenses. Brass mounting chucks are available to accommodate lenses from 2mm to 160mm, and the system handles coated and uncoated lenses with equal ease.

Cardinal optics has expanded with lab space and lab equipment.
Cardinal Optics currently has four different lab rooms to dedicate to your optical project. We have the ability to quickly and efficiently set up a test station for your prototype or for the alignment of your optical system.

We have developed technology in-house for a variety of applications, providing services to companies requiring optical systems or optical subassemblies.
